Overview of the Role:

To lead the Regional Office Finance function in area of Financial Reporting, Treasury, Audit, Tax, Insurance and Internal Control projects.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Review monthly group consolidation
• Review full set of accounts for overseas subsidiaries.
• Co-ordinate with external agents in overseas subsidiaries on audit and tax matters.
• Complete quarterly audit review, annual audit and timely filling of statutory financial statements and group reporting.

Treasury

• Monitor working capital and cash flow of different companies in the group
• Prepare monthly cash forecast of the group for top management financing plan decision making
• Lead group financing projects including corporate bond issuance and direct borrowing from banks, liaise with banks for KYC and due diligence queries
• Monitor companys forex transactions
• Liaise with in-house and external lawyers for borrowing agreement and offer circular review
• Approve bank payment and liaise with bankers for operating accounts management

Insurance

• Arrange for insurance coverage for industrial all risks, marine cargo, comprehensive general liability insurance for the whole group
• Liaise with insurance broker for claims and insurance compliance certificate issuance
• Review insurance clauses on MSA(Master Sales Agreement) for customers

FP&A and control

• Review monthly operating expenses forecast for oversea non-manufacturing subsidiaries
• Work with departmental heads for cost reduction
• Control corporate cost expenditure
• Administrator for business flow
• Approve staff claim

Tax

• Support tax projects or tax related project.
• Review income tax filing for oversea subsidiaries
• Review transfer pricing report

Internal control

• Review and assist in formalising internal control procedures and corporate policies
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to business processes and ensure effectiveness and compliance of financial policies and procedures
• Prepare for internal control documentation

Requirement:

• Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a Big 4 audit firms or/and MNC environment.
• Highly analytical, meticulous and experienced in report writing.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels and across functions.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred; knowledge of LucaNet will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge with MS Excel and Powerpoint, SAP, business intelligence software
• Strong analytical problem solving skills and high attention to details and accuracy
• Experience in working with colleagues from overseas/foreign office.
