Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement early childhood curriculum to meet the physical, emotional and social, intellectual needs of the young children
• Provide activities, apparatus and equipment to support the various curriculum areas planned for the children
• Set-up a conducive, effective, and healthy learning environment for the children
• Provide a safe and clean learning environment for the care and development of the children in the centre
• Maintain good classroom management
• Shower, feed, change diapers, and toilet train the younger children
• Monitor and ensure sick or recovering children take their medicine
• Supervise and manage the children during both indoors and outdoors activities
• Keep progress report and comprehensive portfolio of each child and provide input on the childs development
• Build good rapport with parents including maintain regular communication with parents via Parents Communication Book
• Build and maintain good rapport with colleagues and children
• Assist the Centre to meet all applicable statutory licensing regulations
• Review and recommend improvement to work processes and procedures whenever necessary
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education or Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE)
• Certified by Early Childhood and Development Agency (ECDA) at L2 or L1 category
• Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Chinese-language teacher for pre-school centre, good credit in 'O'-Level Chinese required.
