Main Accountabilities

Customers

• Global Account Manager for 2-3 corporate customers;
• Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key global customers to accomplish growth by providing sustainable solutions;
• Focused on sourcing opportunities and drive development plans converting leads into sales;
• Serve as contact point for key customers and internal teams;
• Be the first to know about customers strategies and development plans so that we can align ourselves to their needs;
• Respectfully respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints in an efficient/effective manner;
• Measures, tracks and analyzes key account metrics;
• All round understanding of the market, the global products offer by customer and competitor; And devise a marketing strategy to better position our product offering to the customers;
• Ownership of revenue and contract management tender negotiations.

Processes & Systems

• Ensuring that commercial processes are reviewed regularly and updated;
• Best practices of contract administration are shared amongst regional hubs;
• Cross hubs management of structured deals and tender negotiations;
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

Education, Knowledge & Working Experience

• Degree Holders with minimum 2 years shipping experience;
• Experience in key account management;
• Knowledge of containerized shipping.
