Job Description

You will be responsible for timely month-end, quarterly and yearly closing to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. You will also be involved in any ad-hoc projects as and when necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Handle AP, AR, Fixed Assets, GST and any other accounting matters
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing
• Preparation of month-end schedules, management reports and yearly statutory reports
• Liaise with internal/external auditors and tax agents on related matters
• Stay in tune with latest FRS updates and tax developments and review its applicability to the business
• Undertake any other other finance duties as required
• Oversee a team of 3 staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent numeracy skills with strong accounting and tax knowledge
• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Good communication skills, a team player with a high level of independence
• Proficient in MS Excel, SAP Financial modules and database applications such as PowerBI
