Desktop Support Analyst (MNC)
Job Description:
- 6 months contract with benefits, Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm
- opportunity to involved in scale project
- 5 mins walking distance from Promenade MRT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1st and 2nd line trouble-shooting and support for 200 local users in Singapore, and for remote offices via phone.
- Work within a team of 5 Helpdesk/Desktop Support Analysts.
- Logging calls, tickets, and assigning to relevant 3rd level teams if necessary.
- Supporting front and back office incidents and requests.
- Moving desktop hardware between desks when requested by the business.
- Monitor & follow up on calls daily to ensure timely resolution.
- Document solutions or work around interim processes, until permanent solution can be made available.
- Act as hub for IT communications with the user base in Asia-Pacific region.
- Occasional overtime work or weekend work is required (working closely with IT Engineering team to support IT / Systems Maintenance).
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Studies with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Very strong customer service focus.
- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills, including investigation, resolution and escalation.
- Solid knowledge in Windows 10 Operating Systems.
- Administration experience in MS Active Director, managing users / groups / policies.
- Working knowledge of remote support tools such as Microsoft Skype for Business, Teams, MECM remote control viewer, VNC, remote desktop connection.
- Citrix support.
- Microsoft Outlook and Enterprise Vault support.
- MS Office 365 support.
- Mobile Technology on iOS devices, AirWatch.
- Voice/phone systems, such as CISCO administration.
- Video-conferencing system support such as Cisco Webex and Teams.
- Hardware troubleshooting and installations.
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident and Request Management processes.
