Construction Site Supervisor (West)

Location: West

Working Hours: Monday - Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor progress of works in the projects of the designated region.
  • Collaborate with Main Contractor and stakeholders to effectively execute the job scope.
  • Work closely with Assistant Operation Manager (AOM) to ensure seamless operation workflow and improve departments processes.
  • Strictly monitor the enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure quality of works and bring down rectification costs.
  • Designate tasks to foreman and workers.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements
  • Conduct daily toolbox meeting.
  • Submit rectification papers and monthly repair cost reports to AOM for documentation and management review.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Inspires and encourages colleagues and subordinates, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Encourage creative thinking among workers to find innovative ways to execute tasks. Motivate them to explore alternatives, such as replacing machinery/tools/equipment, to reduce reliance on human resources.
  • Oversee the batching plant operations, ensuring precise chemical dosing according to the design mix. Maintain equipment in optimal condition to prevent delays in concrete batching. Uphold the quality of freshly batched concrete to prevent on-site rejection.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities/tasks as instructed by the designated AOM.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction site operations or related fields, relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Good knowledge of ISO standards, risk assessment, and workplace safety.
  • Familiar with SOP enforcement, site inspections, and quality control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for reports and documentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in batching plant operations is an advantage.
  • Creative, proactive, and safety-focused with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
