Manager (Medical HR)
You will act as a strategic Human Resource Partner to the medical team,
In this role, you will partner closely with the Medical Board, Clinical Leads, Clinical Operations and various stakeholders in driving the strategic HR programmes and initiatives (not limited to) from talent acquisition, manpower planning, performance management, learning and development to employee engagement that are aligned with hospital objectives.
In addition, you will be involved in the hospital nesting plan for the Medical team as well as HR projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Clinical Leads to identify the manpower requirements (both specialists and non-specialists) and formulate proactive resourcing strategies in driving and delivering the hiring plans to meet the medical manpower demands;
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, selection, offer to on-boarding of new staff members for the Medical group;
- Work in partnership with various stakeholders on the nesting, deployment, and practising registration for the Medical team;
- Work closely with the HR, Learning & Development on the Health Manpower Development Plan, its related fellowships, and leadership programmes for the Medical team;
- Manage the full spectrum of HR operations and services for the Medical team;
- Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, legislation, manpower planning relating to the Medical team;
- Provide supervision and coaching to the junior executives in the team to ensure the effective, efficient and professional delivery of HR plans, programmes and services;
- Keep abreast and work progressively on the human resource related policies, make recommendations to ensure that they are relevant and in compliance with the regulatory requirements and are up-to-date with the healthcare climate changes;
- Work with Centres of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives;
- Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, or its related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering with proven record in talent acquisition.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Calm, decisive, and resilient in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritise workload, be well organised and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion.
- Possess strong analytical, communication, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a team and across teams with minimal supervision.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationship at various levels.
- Proactive attitude and determination to ensure required outcomes are achieved and takes responsibility.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and nurture the team to meet institutional goals.
- Tech-savvy with an ability to learn new software and other relevant programs.
