Sales Engineer

 Job Description:

  • Perm role with AWS and VB
  • Stable career progression
  • 30% travelling, Countries will be Asia, Oceania and Middle East regions
  • Full salary not comm base

Main Purpose of Job

  • To render high quality support to distributors and company sales efforts
  • The Sales Engineer will also understand the comprehensive markets that the Company has or has yet to venture into, so as to provide the best knowledge and expertise in his/her course of work

Responsibilities

  • Design and carry out annual sales and marketing strategies for power products
  • Develop strategies to build on current customer relationships
  • Prepare and present briefings to convey technical and customer service capabilities
  • Perform intensive market analysis to understand market needs and behaviors, competition and key driver of growth
  • Review and present information on strategies to top management and other personnel
  • Advise company on strategic moves to achieve organizational goals
  • Render support to distributors in the aspect of sales and coordination works
  • Gather information from market, customer and sites to better understand landscape
  • Coordinate communication between distributors and related departments
  • Prepare and support sales events
  • Coordinate with Japan in relation to delivery time of enquiry processing, delivery schedule covering planning, processing, updating and confirmation, etc.
  • Render support in relation to product application issues
  • Review competitors activities and products in the market
  • Any other duties that are assigned within the course of work

  • Long-term visionary with strategic planning skills
  • Confident at presentations, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-driven and enthusiastic about power generation products
  • Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Able to manage technical proposals
  • Strong team player with ability to work in cross-functional groups

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering/Marketing or related field
  • Preferable 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering industry. But no prior experience is welcome to apply too as training will be provided.
  • Experience in selling generator power or industrial chillers will be advantageous
