Sales Manager (Regional / Manufacturing)

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Own strategy deployment for distribution sales growth for the Group in the region; responsible for securing and maintaining regional distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements.
  • Provide annual plan for direct and distribution sales to meet business growth objectives.
  • Keep abreast of industry economic and technological trends in target markets & identify target market/ applications business opportunities.
  • Keep management informed of competitive products, pricing, new product development, and market issues via timely periodical reports and other specifically requested reports
  • Responsible for product management and provide strategic positioning plan in ASEAN.
  • Implement the attack plan from strategic positioning and monitor the progress monthly.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Field Sales and Product Managers in ASEAN region to achieve growth and profitability; effectively utilize placement, motivation, training and development skills with the territory sales/product business.
  • Develop marketing and sales promotion programs for Distributors and OEM customers; and training programs to support Distributors and OEM customers.
  • Responsible for Sourcing from qualified and approved Supplier.

Requirements

  • Degree in Material Science education background or relate areas of study with minimum 8-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, business development, or Product Management.
  • Exposure to Value Added activities and Life Science applications are highly desired.
  • Possess knowledge of management, marketing principles, industry practices, company and competitor products and service capabilities, business and operational processes including proposal development, contract negotiations, and program management etc.
  • Excellent technical / engineering comprehension and knowledge of related products groups.
  • Able to lead people and obtain results, capability to organize and manage multiple priorities within a dynamic matrix organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, abilities to effectively and persuasively present information to top management, customers, and employees.
