 Job Description:

Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer

Direct report: Operation Manger (Expat)

Job Summary Analyze manufacturing processes, propose, implement and monitor initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production and business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across departments.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (SMED, SOP, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Monitor implemented initiatives and adapt them if necessary.
  • Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional workshops.
  • Monitor KPIs and report progress to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in position of CI or similar.
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (Required certificated).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SOP, SMED and process capability tools.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Working day

Monday to Friday at 08.00 – 17.00 (5 days/week)
