Responsibilities

• Manage operations ensure top of the class in terms of safety records, efficiency, quality and technical competency of the entire warehouse.
• Ensure containers management in terms of on time receiving and despatching in a safe yet quick and professional manner.
• Prepare safety procedures for the safe operation of Gas including maintenance and emergency response.
• Ensure Gas products are picked and are conducted properly including proper reject segregations.
• Support license holder in terms of document preparations during license renewal.
• Attend to NEA or any other agency during site visit.
• Raise shopping charts and ensure consumables are replenished on time.
• Identify productivity projects and ensure variable and fixed cost for Operations are reduced yearly.
• Supervise and train contractors for works procedures - identification of training needs for operation staff and ensure full documentation.
• Ensure the availability of all required operation equipment, detectors as well as emergency equipment.
• Act as site incident controller representing ops during emergency, including coordinating with third parties company to mitigate issues at customer sites.
• Lead chemistry package review process for gas operations and ensure quality and timely submission.
• Act as intermediary between company and regional/global technical team in terms of queries and technical issues/exchanges.
• Use of system to enter, follow-up and closed off customer complaints regarding technical issues.
• Support technical issues and visit customer if necessary.
• Take ownership of all assets with full accountability including asset retesting regime.
• Hold regular meetings with Sales, supply chain and quality and relay information back to operations as necessary.

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or degree preferred with more than 5years operation experiences in a manufacturing environment
• Holding a Hazardous Substances (HS) Licence is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cylinder, industrial gases, including electronic specialty gases (ESG).
• Knowledge of DG goods and classifications is an advantage.
