Assistant Marketing Manager (Automotive)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to elevate brand visibility and reputation.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all offline channels and communications.
Campaign & Event Management
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Oversee the coordination of product launches, motorshows, and brand events to maximize impact and audience engagement.
Content Creation & Management
- Manage the development and distribution of digital content such as website copy, blog articles, social media posts, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure content quality, consistency, and optimization for SEO and user engagement.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior marketing team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Public Relations
- Manage media relations and coordinate with PR agencies to secure positive coverage.
- Prepare press releases, media kits, and respond to media inquiries professionally and promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal departments, principal stakeholders, and external partners to align marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, event organizers, and creative agencies.
Budget Management & Reporting
- Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution of campaigns and events.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze ROI, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- Deg with 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, or communications.
- Proven track record in managing brand campaigns, event marketing, and public relations.
- Experience in the automotive industry or a related consumer-facing sector is preferred.
- Possess good knowledge and skill in Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, conventional marketing, content writing, website design/development.
- Prior experience in leading a team or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
