Head of Investments

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our team and lead strategic initiatives across M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Lending, LBOs, and Complex Structured Deals. This role is critical in driving growth through high-impact transactions in the technology, IT, and TMT sectors.

The ideal candidate has 1015 years of experience in investment management or corporate development, preferably from an in-house investment function, with a proven track record in executing leveraged, LBO, joint venture, and complex structured transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deal execution across M&A, PE, structured financing, credit transactions, LBOs, and complex deals.
• Originate, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in the technology, IT, and TMT sectors.
• Structure and negotiate multi-layered, complex, and leveraged transactions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business units to align investment strategies with corporate objectives.
• Prepare and present investment cases to senior management and the investment committee.
• Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate external advisors (legal, financial, technical).
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation initiatives post-investment.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on investment opportunities, deal structures, and risk management.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1015 years of relevant experience in M&A, Private Equity, structured finance, corporate investments, or LBOs.
• Strong in-house background preferred (corporate development, investment office, or strategic finance).
• Deep expertise in the technology, IT, and TMT industries.
• Proven track record in leveraged, LBO, and complex structured transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, deal structuring, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to build high-level communication bridges across departments, speak multiple languages (business, finance, technical), and influence decision-making.
• Resilient, assertive, and confident in defending investment cases and strategic positions.
