An investment fund is seeking a Chief Product Officer for one of its portfolio companies operating in the TMT sector.
This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced product executive who will shape the product vision, build a high-performing Product organization and drive long-term business growth.
In addition to leading the Product function, the CPO will serve as a trusted advisor to executive management and shareholders, providing an objective perspective on key product and technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the company's product vision and strategy.
- Own the product roadmap and portfolio priorities.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing Product organization.
- Establish Product Management processes, governance and best practices.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to prioritize strategic initiatives.
- Define and monitor key product KPIs and performance metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data and Commercial teams to deliver high-impact products.
- Ensure product and technology decisions support long-term business objectives.
- Foster strong collaboration across Product, Engineering and Business functions.
Executive & Strategic Advisory
- Act as a strategic advisor on product and technology initiatives.
- Evaluate major product investments and strategic opportunities.
- Present recommendations and product updates to executive leadership and shareholders.
- Contribute to informed decision-making through data-driven analysis, market insights and product expertise.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8-10 years of experience as Chief Product Officer, VP Product, Head of Product or Product Director within a technology company.
- Proven success building and scaling Product organizations.
- Experience managing multiple products or product portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of digital product development and modern Product Management practices.
- Solid technical understanding with the ability to engage confidently with Engineering leadership.
- Strong analytical, strategic and commercial mindset.
- Experience working with CEOs, Boards, Shareholders or Investment Funds is a strong advantage.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
