About the job Commercial Head

Role Purpose

To lead the entire commercial function for Indonesia's seed business (field crops & vegetable crops), delivering profitable growth through strong Go-to-Market execution, channel development, demand generation, pricing strategy, and customer engagement. The role is accountable for annual revenue, market share, operating margin, and working capital performance.

Experience & Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 12–18+ years in agri-inputs, preferably the seed industry.
  • Strong commercial experience managing revenue of USD 20–50 million or more.
  • Proven track record of building distributor networks in the multi-island markets of Indonesia.
  • Experience leading a large field force and senior managers.
  • Understanding of the Indonesian farmer ecosystem, agro-climatic zones, and seed regulations.

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience in MNC seed companies.
  • Exposure to digital agriculture tools
  • Bahasa & English mandatory.
