About the job Supply Planner Specialist
Responsibilities;
- Responsible to manage supply planning activities with a strong focus on procurement of packaging materials, ensuring timely availability to support production and business demand while optimizing inventory levels and costs.
- Create and maintain procurement plans packaging materials and its component based on production and sales forecasts.
- Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and follow up to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance (OTIF On Time In Full) and escalate delays or shortages.
- Work closely with the production, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications and are available for manufacturing.
- Manage inventory levels of packaging materials to avoid stock-outs or excess, including slow- and non-moving inventory analysis.
- Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance for imported materials.
- Track procurement KPIs (lead time adherence, inventory turnover, purchase price variance).
- Support new product launches by ensuring timely sourcing of new raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain SAP master data related to materials, suppliers, and purchase orders.
Requirements;
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Min 3-5 years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or packaging materials management (preferably in agrochemical, chemical, or FMCG industries).
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in SAP (MM/PP module).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
