About the job HSE Officer
## Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments to develop controls and mitigation strategies.
2. Implement HSE Policies: Ensure that HSE policies and procedures are implemented and followed by all employees.
3. Provide Training: Provide training and awareness programs for employees on health, safety, and environmental issues.
4. Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
5. Monitor Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
## Qualifications:
1. Education: Diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
3. Certification: Certification in health, safety, and environmental management, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, is a plus.
4. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and training skills.
## Expertise:
1. HSE Regulations: Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
2. Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop controls to mitigate hazards.
3. Training and Awareness: Ability to develop and deliver training programs on health, safety, and environmental issues.
