About the job Reserving & Financial Modeling Assistant Manager

Responsibilities;

  • Perform reserving process each month, identify significant issue, and create the summary report.
  • Develop and improve tools to support reserving exercise and Communicate the reserve figures with other stakeholder in technical team (UW, Reinsurance, Claims) and Risk Management
  • Perform analysis of claim handling expense, Risk margin, Reinsurance utilization, large losses analysis, or other modelling related.
  • Review reserving policy and SOP, including identify the room of improvement with the internal reserving process.
  • Collaborate with Stratplan, Finance & Accounting, and Underwriter team to project the companys strategy and planning.
  • Support the Group strategy & Planning submission and OJK Business plan and Develop supporting tool for this exercise.
  • Study actuarial assumptions and implementation.
  • Collaborate with vendor to perform financial impact analysis and develop supporting tool for this exercise

Requirements;

  • Min. Bachelors Degree in mathematical or statistical field
  • Min. 5 years working experience as actuarial excellence
  • Preferably pass several PAI (Society of Actuaries of Indonesia) examination modules and ASAI (Associate of the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia)
  • Advanced knowledge of Ms. Office (Excel, PPT and Word)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Good technical skills (programming, actuarial tools, Power BI)
  • Fluent in English
