Warehouse Manager
About the job Warehouse Manager
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper handling, stacking, and documentation of all materials using ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Implement FIFO/FEFO for stock movement and ensure physical inventory matches system data.
- Ensure all storage and handling practices comply with Indonesian regulations
- Maintain updated documentation including product data sheets, licenses, and permits.
- Support internal and external audits and implement any corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, batch codes, and movement history.
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and prepare inventory reports.
- Flag near-expiry, damaged, or non-moving goods for review and action.
- Coordinate with transportation partners and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Optimize warehouse layout and loading schedules to improve turnaround time.
- Monitor vehicle movements and ensure proper documentation for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Utilize lean warehousing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support digital transformation and automation initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff and third-party service providers.
- Define shift schedules, assign daily tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Conduct onboarding and training programs for new staff.
- Enforce the use of PPE and compliance with company HSE protocols.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, fire drills, and emergency response training.
- Ensure proper handling of spills, leaks, or other incidents with a clear escalation process
