1. Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage multi-disciplinary EPCM projects including marine jetty construction, fuel storage tank farms, bulk-material conveyor systems, and industrial workshop construction. The role ensures that engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with SNI standards and EPCM contract requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Project Leadership & Coordination

Manage full EPCM lifecycle: engineering review, procurement coordination, fabrication monitoring, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Drive project execution plans, method statements, QA/QC plans, and HSE strategies.

Lead project planning teams, discipline engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

B. Jetty & Marine Works

Oversee piling, pile-driving operations, deck construction, fenders, dolphins, berthing structures, and marine logistics.

Ensure compliance with hydrographic survey requirements, coastal construction permits, and marine safety standards.

C. Fuel Storage Tanks & Piping

Manage construction of vertical steel tanks, foundations, ring beams, bund walls, internal/external piping, firefighting systems, and instrumentation.

Ensure compliance with API 650/653, ASME, NFPA, SNI, and MIGAS requirements.

D. Conveyor Systems & Crushing Facilities

Manage site installation of conveyor structures, galleries, transfer towers, pulleys, drives, roller systems, weighbridges, and electrical integration.

Coordinate with OEMs and fabrication workshops for QA/QC and delivery schedules.

E. Workshop Construction

Lead civil, structural, MEP, roofing, cladding, cranes installation, pits, drainage, and utilities commissioning.

Ensure as-built documentation compliance.

F. Planning, Cost Control & Contracts

Track project progress versus S-Curve, manpower histograms, procurement, and fabrication schedules.

Review progress claims, variations, BOQs, cost forecasts, and contractual deliverables.

Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports for management and clients.

G. Stakeholder & Client Relations

Chair internal & external progress meetings.

Interface with client representatives, consultants, and authorities.

Ensure smooth coordination between head office, site teams, and vendors.

H. HSE & Compliance

Ensure adherence to Indonesian construction regulations (UU 2/2017, PP 14/2021, Permen PUPR 14/2020).

Conduct safety walks, audits, toolbox meetings, and enforce risk control measures.

3. Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

Minimum 10 years EPCM/Construction experience with proven delivery of jetty, tank farm, conveyor, or workshop projects.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Familiar with SNI, API, AISC, ASME, FIDIC/GCC and construction documentation.

Able to lead multinational teams and work in remote project sites.

Strong communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia & English preferred).
