About the client's company:

As part of our ongoing international expansion, we are opening new offices in Malta, a key step in strengthening our global presence within the gaming industry. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team and play a vital role in developing our financial operations from the ground up.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial strategy. The Finance Manager will manage financial rep The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting and compliance, as well as supporting the growth of our new entity in Malta. This role is a hands-on leadership position that is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Prepare and analyse management accounts, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Supervise and mentor a small finance team.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning and business growth.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, with at least 2 of those years spent in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the gaming, fintech, or payments industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Xero, etc.)
