About the Company
A leading international manufacturer in the gas and energy sector is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all products, packaging, and labels meet applicable international regulatory requirements.
Role Overview
The Product Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining product compliance documentation, with a strong emphasis on product label compliance. This role ensures that all product labels accurately reflect regulatory requirements, safety information, and technical specifications, in line with standards such as REACH, CLP, ADR, and local energy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Label Compliance

Ensure product labels comply with relevant international regulations (including CLP Regulation, REACH, and GHS standards).

Develop, review, and approve product labels, packaging designs, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product label specifications and compliance certificates.

Liaise with suppliers and third-party laboratories to verify material and component compliance.

Monitor regulatory updates affecting product labeling, packaging, or composition.

Coordinate label translations and verify linguistic accuracy across markets.
Documentation & Systems

Maintain regulatory documentation databases, including product technical files, declarations of conformity, and certification records.

Support audits and inspections conducted by regulatory bodies or notified organizations.

Prepare compliance reports and performance summaries for management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teams to ensure compliance is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

Advise internal stakeholders on labeling and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field (preferred).

24 years experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assuranceideally within the chemical, energy, or gas sector.

Strong understanding of EU and global labeling regulations (CLP, REACH, GHS, ADR).

Experience managing compliance documentation systems.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Strong communication skills in English.
