CNC Programmer - Bridgwater

Overview:

The role entails operating machines, maximising output, and inspecting parts to maintain the highest quality standards. Additionally, setting up the machines, making adjustments and reprogramming, and sharpening tools are all part of the job requirements. The employee will have the autonomy to manage their own workload, as well as provide help to operators, alerting Team Leaders and Supervisors of any issues in production.

The Role:

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be communicating with Team Leaders or Supervisors regarding production-related issues and informing them of any parts that do not adhere to the tolerances. The employee is also responsible for supporting operators in machine set-ups, making necessary adjustments, adhering to the quality system, performing on-the-job self-inspection, following reasonable requests from the Production Supervisor and Manager, aiding in the training of apprentices, keeping up with safety standards and regulations, and ensuring a clean and well-kept environment at all times.

The Person:

The perfect candidate for this position should have significant experience with CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning, and be capable of programming, setting, and operating intricate components. Additionally, the ability to work from drawings is a must, and knowledge of programming CNC Machines, particularly with Mazatrol control systems, is beneficial.
