Job Purpose
Oversee comprehensive operations control and coordination for ground handling and airport functions, including accurate movement recording, load control, AMS, resource allocation, planning, organizing, stakeholder collaboration, and procedural adherence. Lead OCC Coordinators, prioritize safety, service quality, and operational efficiency to meet airline needs. Direct ramp team to achieve targets and surpass customer expectations. Proficiently handle emergencies, promptly activating stakeholders for swift response.

Key Activities
Financial
- To ensure that all aircraft movements and technical charge notes are recorded accurately for financial reconciliation.
- To collect cash from Adhoc flights in coordination with finance.
Process
- Oversee the overall functioning of the OCC, providing leadership, guidance, and performance monitoring of the OCC Coordinator. Regularly share performance feedback with the Ground Handling Manager (GHM)
- Review AMS software closely and coordinate for require update/upgrades.
- Planning & Allocation of Aircraft stand, Check-in Counter, Boarding gate and arrival baggage belt. FIDS updation for all passenger processing zones.
- To plan, monitor, control, coordinate and supervise the Load Controllers, Ramp Staff, Equipment Operators, Cleaners and all other staff in OCC and all aircraft movements for our airline customers.
- Daily inspection sheets for Apron, GSE and GSV.
- Statistic and time sheet requirements, perform FMU function.
- Special attention to VIP and CIP Movements.
- Overall operations monitoring, coordination with all internal & external stakeholders.
- Maintaining a suitable environment to declare, achieve and maintain the sections Quality, health, Safety and Environmental Objectives.
- Participates in the inspection and investigation of accidents and helps introducing corrective / preventive actions and conducting risk assessment.
- To ensure all activities are in compliance with ground handling, RAK airport, customer airlines, and the regulators procedures.
- To ensure a detailed Accident and Incident report is completed, as required.
- To ensure that all Airport Emergency Orders are adhered.
- Support GHM in performance appraisals of ramp team as per the company policy to achieve the highest level of staff productivity and performance.
- Perform aircraft document check and process landing permissions for scheduled and ad-hoc movements on behalf of the RAK DCA. Ensure that the airlines are informed as soon as possible and forward all messages to the relevant customers/departments.
- To action any advisory messages regarding Aircraft parking allocations, gate changes, counter allocation, baggage belt changes and any special requirements.
- To provide the necessary briefing to the staff in the Operations Control Centre on a shift basis, using the resources available.
- To provide reports as required by the RAK Airport, Ground handling, Airlines and Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
- To ensure the technical infrastructure adequately always supports the operation, and to ensure service delivery during times of unforeseen technical issues.
- To set priorities of work allocation during peak work periods, and times of disrupted schedules, and commercial constraints, to protect those carriers operating to plan, provide even distribution of resources, and enhance the reputation of the company.
- To effectively communicate service requirements related to other departments ensuring that flight/passenger handling is provided as requested.
- To provide accurate, comprehensive reporting to management as required.
- To provide a Daily flight schedule to all departments, ensuring that the Operations Control Centre has a manual back-up for times of power failure.
- To continually Flight Watch aircraft and to ensure that RAK Airport has full stand utilization for our customer airlines in consultation with ATC staff. Process stands requests on behalf of our customer airlines and prioritise VIP movements.
- To ensure that the Operations Control Centre is fully always staffed.
- To ensure that all office equipment is functioning, fit for task and primary systems are connected to an uninterruptable power supply.
- To ensure company uniform and grooming standard are being always adhered to.
- To assess the procedures of RAK Airport continually for possible improvement.
- To carry out other duties as appropriate in support of the business activities of RAK Airport. To support GHM in any other operational task assigned by him.
- To provide cover of other functions as and when required during any disruption in the operation.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage)
- Graduation, Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices governing the operation of airport
Professional Qualifications
- Having a valid UAE driving licence and preferred with ADP
- Full awareness of airport operation and airport contracts and IATA regulations.
EXPERIENCE
Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years of aviation experience and atleast 03 years of Load Control experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and to very tight deadlines.
- Preferred to have someone familiar with overall airport experience and versed with all functions of airlines, airport and ground handling

- To comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual & Safety Management System & any other instructions or notices issued by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
- To comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training.
- To advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or system failure and to identify & report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via one of the following means.
- Report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor.
- Submitting an Accident/ Incident Report.
- Support safety audits as and investigations as they occur.
