The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive recruiting program consisting of sourcing, recruiting, and hiring talent into the organization. Supervises assigned recruiting staff. Leverages systems, processes and reporting to assist leadership in the hiring of talent. Provides direct sourcing and recruiting support as needed. Provides recruitment activity reports to management on a regular basis.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

· Provide management with consultation pertaining to effective recruitment and interviewing practices.

· Evaluate and enhance recruitment processes to optimize efficiency and ensure a seamless candidate experience.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators, providing insights for continuous improvement.

· Manage assigned staff to maximize all stages of the talent pipeline and ensuring the team meets (or exceed) their hiring targets.

· Proactively identify and attract top-tier talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.

· Handle a small requisition load as needed, managing the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions.

· Foster positive candidate relationships through effective communication and engagement strategies.

· Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all recruitment activities.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelors degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Psychology or related field required.

· 5 years recruiting experience, at least 3 years in a volume-driven environment.

· Some supervisory experience required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/ KNOWLEDGE:

· Experience in (or exposure to) developing strategy, driving process improvement and effective partnering to lead critical business change.

· Ability to utilize critical and conceptual thinking with effective results in highly fast paced and complex situations.

· Must possess strong business acumen and analytical skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent presentation skills.

· In depth experience with Applicant Tracking Systems as well as Microsoft Office.

· Demonstrated report writing experience, leveraging data to drive results.

· Experience using social media for recruitment purposes.

· Working knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws and practices.
