𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Developer for AI-Powered Phone & Text Assistant (Testing Phase)

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄:

Were testing an AI assistant that lets users call or text to ask for product prices, availability, or general info (like bus schedules or phone numbers). Youll build a prototype that:

🠺 Handles phone calls (with speech-to-text and text-to-speech)
🠺 Handles SMS
🠺 Uses Open AI to generate replies
🠺 Uses mock data (no real API connections yet)

Responsibilities 

🠺 Set up a VoIP number (Twilio, Plivo, or Telnyx) for calls and SMS
🠺 Build a backend (Node.js, Python/Flask/FastAPI, etc.)
Integrate:
   Speech-to-text & text-to-speech
   SMS handling
   OpenAI API for conversational replies
🠺 Use mock data to answer questions 
🠺 Log all conversations
🠺 Test, debug, and document the system

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

🠺 Experience with VoIP APIs
🠺 Skilled in backend development (Node.js, Python, etc.)
🠺 Familiar with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and OpenAI
🠺 Able to work with mock data and structure clear backend logic
🠺 Strong testing/debugging and communication skills.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀: 2-3 weeks with intention to become long term

A working prototype that:

🠺 Accepts calls & SMS

🠺 Responds naturally to user questions

🠺 Logs all interactions
