About the Role

The ideal candidate for the Product Designer position will bring a user-first mindset, strong visual design skills, and experience delivering intuitive, consistent, and accessible digital experiences across responsive web and mobile platforms. This role will be a key member of Rhythms Product team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Experience to shape and elevate the end-to-end customer journey.

Rhythm's Product Design function supports seamless, user-centered experiences across all customer touch points including enrollment, billing, communications, renewals, retention, and account management. This role will help define, execute, and maintain high-quality designs that are both brand-aligned and scalable. In addition to external-facing experiences, the designer will also support internal tools and workflows used by key stakeholders such as operations, customer care, and other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product designer working on web or mobile applications
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar tools for interface design and prototyping
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience participating in Agile processes and working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing.
  • Experience conducting user interviews with both internal stakeholders and external customers, and applying insights to inform design decisions.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

Job Responsibilities

This role will support end-to-end design across multiple brands and a variety of customer-facing and internal-facing products. Our product design areas include: enrollment flow; customer portals for engagement and retention; billing and usage communications; internal tooling for operations, care, and pricing; and the ongoing evolution of our design system and brand alignment.

This role will:

  • Translate client needs and brand strategies into effective design solutions
  • Design end-to-end product experiences from discovery to final handoff across responsive web and mobile platforms, supporting multiple brands
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate design intent
  • Work with the marketing design to create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs that reflect the desired theme and tone of communications
  • Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, marketing, content, and other stakeholders to deliver feasible solutions that align with the product vision
  • Conduct or support user research, including interviews and usability testing, gather actionable feedback, and produce drafts and update designs based on stakeholder and user input
  • Advocate for the user while balancing business goals and technical constraints
  • Contribute to and help maintain the products design system and brand guidelines
  • Audit and QA production environments to uphold design standards and brand alignment
  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to guide future improvements
  • Anticipated design of a native mobile app

Location

  • Remote, but with a minimum working overlap of 4 hours with United States Central Timezone
