Roles and Responsibilities
Rhythm is in search of a Growth Product Manager who thrives on increasing conversion rates and optimizing product performance. This individual must be data-driven and possess a keen understanding of how to differentiate the Rhythm customer experience in a competitive market. As the Growth Product Manager, you will participate in product experimentation efforts aimed at driving customer growth, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute high-impact experiments and customer experiences. You will also help identify, advocate for, and deliver, the most promising opportunities to grow Rhythms customer count by effectively acquiring and retaining customers.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical background, familiarity with marketing and customer acquisition functions, and a dedication to optimizing funnels. While primarily focused on product growth initiatives, this role will also involve supporting technology development efforts across various product areas, including customer-facing applications and internal tools. As a key member of the Product Management team, you will work alongside other Product Managers and collaborate with stakeholders from different business functions, as well as the Software Engineering and Data Science teams.
Our technology product areas include a customer enrollment journey supported by martech stack, customer portal for ongoing customer engagement and retention; internal tools supporting pricing, customer care and operations teams; a billing platform supporting all billing of our customers; and, a data and analytics platform supporting all reporting and business intelligence needs, as well as providing unique insights and capabilities within our other products.
This role will:
- Contribute to and execute against our product roadmap, guiding prioritization of product features by engaging with stakeholders to create business cases that assess value and cost of potential projects.
- Lead implementation of customer growth product initiatives.
- Work with a cross-functional team to align tech growth priorities across product, marketing, sales, analytics, UX design, and engineering. In particular, work closely with Head of Growth (who is part of Marketing organization) to align technology work with marketing efforts to improve sales performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the head of growth in developing growth ideas, shaping them into hypotheses, prioritizing them, running AB tests, and reporting on outcomes.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to run AB tests from top to bottom of the funnel to drive incremental conversions.
- Define business requirements for new initiatives along with business stakeholders and work with software development colleagues to turn those business requirements into product requirements documents, technical implementation guides and defined workflows.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the user experience aligns with product goals.
- Manage Agile SCRUM process for assigned projects, writing, grooming, and pointing stories in Jira along with engineering counterparts, and ensuring delivery of highest priority items with maximum efficiency.
- Manage project scope to focus on delivering value Support project deployment by preparing product documentation, coordinating training sessions, communicating with stakeholders, and staying up to date with code releases.
- Foster effective communication and alignment throughout the product lifecycle by working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and customer care.
- Monitor product performance by tracking key metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years working on digital product management with a focus on growth
- Demonstrated ability to lead product development process from start to finish.
- Technical background and understanding of software development processes.
- Strong analytical background and familiarity with BI tools and Microsoft Office suite
- Deep understanding of the underpinnings of a high performing conversion funnel
- Ability to analyze user data and extract business requirements from stakeholders and transform them into product requirements.
- Great communicator who can paint the picture necessary to get buy-in from day-to-day stakeholders, up to the executive team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with business analytics and data tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Databricks, SQL, Full Story, and AB Testing tools.
- Experience considering customer personas and segments and understanding behavior based on these segments.
- Familiarity with Figma
- Experience running user interviews and gathering both qualitative and quantitative market feedback.
- Experience working with UI/UX designers to create new product experiences.
- Knowledge of retail energy and competitive landscape in energy is preferred.
Location
- Remote, but with a minimum working overlap of 4 hours with United States Central Timezone
