Growth Insights & Analytics Lead

Rhythm Energy spends eight figures a year to bring Texans clean power. Your mission is to make every dollar work harder. You will own the measurement stack (MMM, incrementality, attribution) that guides spend, surface the insights that shape go-to-market, and unlock new demand levers far beyond paid media. Your work will directly influence lead list growth, CAC, CLV, and overall portfolio margin. You'll use data to help shape our strategy including market sizing, audience expansion exploration, referrals virality analysis, and enrollment flow A/B testing.

What you'll do
- Own customer-acquisition analytics: lead strategy & measurement for an eight-figure media budget; manage one analyst (with scope to grow).
- Operationalize the measurement stack: build and maintain MMM, geo/incrementality tests, and multi-touch attribution so we know the true marginal ROI of every channel.
- Expand channel analytics: evolve our toolkit as we move from search/social into programmatic, CTV, OOH, referral virality, and partnership channels.
- Drive growth strategy projects: size new markets, model audience expansion, analyze cross-sell economics, and recommend optimal media-mix shifts.
- Test & learn culture: set experimentation frameworks, design A/B and geo hold-outs, and institutionalize learnings.
- Mentor & scale: coach your analyst, set clear OKRs, and elevate Rhythm's analytics maturity.
- Drive the evolution of our marketing analytics approach as we expand our media mix from web to programmatic, OOH.
- Conduct deep analysis to shape Rhythm Energy's GTM strategy, combining both internal + market data.
- Collaborate with partners across Marketing, Finance, Product, Ops to align all our efforts, rooted in data.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of analytics experience. This may include working on core performance metrics on a Biz Ops, Business, or Product team, but should include recent experience in a Growth Marketing analytics role.
- A deep understanding of digital growth marketing measurement. You should have a strong perspective on methods to measure the incremental impact of paid marketing.
- A penchant for growing companies; your approach to analytics is driven by hypotheses you originate and an instinct for growth opportunities.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Twilio Segment
- Experience with Python, advanced SQL and data visualization tooling experience (e.g. Streamlit, Databricks).
- Outcome over tool-fetish: If a simple regression answers the business question faster than a neural net, we ship the regressionthen automate and scale it.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
Success Metrics
- Reduce blended CAC by X % YoY while sustaining growth targets.
- Achieve mCAC (marginal CAC) target in all scaled channels.
- Deliver $Y incremental CLV through measurement-driven optimizations.
- Improve media ROI (incremental revenue / $ spend) by Z % within 12 months.
- Maintain MMM forecast error 10 % vs. actual revenue each quarter.
- Launch N high-quality incrementality tests per quarter; publish learnings within 2 weeks of read-out.
- Ensure 95 % of media spend is covered by validated measurement (MMM or lift tests).
- Increase lead-to-sale conversion rate from nurture drips by Q % YoY.
- Ship critical dashboards with 99.5 % data-refresh reliability (no critical breakages per month).
