About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics officer to manage and coordinate the movement of goods, vehicles, and machinery across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials and finished products, managing internal and external logistics, and supporting in cross-functional coordination

Responsibilities:

1. Transportation & Scheduling

  • Coordinate supplier trucks to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site
  • Arrange for client truck dispatches, ensuring deliveries leave on time and reach clients as scheduled
  • Coordinate internal transport assets (machines, trucks, and cars) for efficient logistics support
  • Monitor and follow up on maintenance schedules for all internal vehicles and machinery

2. Warehouse & Inventory Movement

  • Support logistics related to inbound and outbound movement of goods between warehouse and production
  • Assist in loading/offloading operations and ensure accuracy in documentation

3. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise regularly with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of logistical plans with business needs
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries and updates

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing goods
  • Ensure proper use of delivery notes, stock movement forms, and vehicle logs
  • Enforce compliance with internal procedures and logistics policies

5. Reporting & Monitoring

  • Track shipments and internal fleet to ensure timely delivery and identify delays
  • Compile daily/weekly reports on logistics activity and fleet performance
  • Report any challenges or irregularities to management promptly

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software/tools
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
