Seeking an experienced, motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in a funds environment to join the team on a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months.

Ppen to considering candidates at both the Fund Administrator and Senior Fund Administrator levels, depending on experience and suitability.

Job Purpose:

To support the Manager and Open-Ended Investment Team in managing and administering two significant Open-Ended Investment Company (OEIC) structures.

Principal responsibilities:

• Always strive for excellent client service and delivery
• Preparation of all client deliverables including periodic valuations and reports
• Dealing with a varied range of client queries
• Book-keeping for a range of Investment funds
• Calculation of dividends payable on the Investment funds
• Calculation and payment of fees payable by the Investment funds
• Inputting payments using online banking systems
• KYC/AML checks on applicants for shares in the Investment funds
• Providing support to the Team
• Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned

Knowledge and experience:

• A minimum of 3-4 years experience working in a Funds environment
• Attention to detail to ensure work is of a consistently high standard
• Well organised with accuracy and timely completion of work
• Good administrative and numeracy skills
• Ability to adapt to a variety of work on a number of clients
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, particularly Word, Excel and Access
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly
• To be aware of the limits of his/her/their decision-making entitlement and not to take risks in this regard
• Flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures and react calmly to changing demands
• To be brave enough to ask questions and raise issues appropriately
• To look for information and for (external) procedures related to applicable legislation
• To understand structures in place
• To understand transactions and operations carried out
