We're offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Banker to join our Jersey team on a permanent basis. As a trusted adviser, you'll manage a sophisticated portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients and entities, delivering exceptional service across investments, lending, wealth planning and banking. You'll play a pivotal role in growing client relationships, developing new opportunities, and representing our brand within the market.
What You'll Do
Lead and Elevate Client Relationships
- Act as the dedicated relationship manager for a portfolio of private clients, overseeing every aspect of their banking, investment, wealth planning and credit needs
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client needs are understood, prioritised and expertly fulfilled
- Build long‑term, commercially rewarding relationships that enhance client satisfaction and drive new business
Drive Growth and Deliver Tailored Advice
- Proactively develop existing client relationships while identifying and converting opportunities with potential new clients
- Deliver high‑quality financial, investment and lending advice aligned with internal policies and professional standards
- Promote our brand through active networking, attending industry events and representing our organisation in the marketplace
Strategic Client Engagement
- Travel when required to meet clients and prospects, nurturing relationships that support retention and growth
- Collaborate with internal specialists to source the right solutions and deliver a seamless client experience
- Complete annual suitability reviews and risk assessments, ensuring every client remains properly assessed and supported
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Achieve annual financial targets that support our broader strategic objectives
- Assist the Lending team with risk management to ensure safe and effective delivery of finance solutions
- Maintain high standards of compliance, regulatory adherence and governance across your portfolio
- Support the development of colleagues and contribute to a high‑performing team culture

What You'll Bring
Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record advising high‑net‑worth clients in a regulated environment
- Demonstrated success in building, maintaining and growing client relationships
- Strong understanding of investment products, lending solutions and wealth planning principles
- Experience managing a diverse client portfolio, ideally with exposure to international wealth structuring
- Excellent knowledge of compliance, governance and regulatory frameworks
