About the Role

Our client are growing our Banking & Finance team and are seeking a Senior Associate to join them.

You will work closely with Partners and other senior lawyers to help clients achieve their business and personal objectives through the delivery of high-quality legal advice and transaction support.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing accurate, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
• Delivering exceptional client service.
• Preparing and negotiating Jersey transaction documents.
• Liaising with instructing counsel and managing Jersey law aspects of transactions.
• Managing deadlines effectively and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
• Preparing fee estimates and keeping clients informed regarding fees and billing.
• Managing work in progress and maintaining strong matter management practices.
• Taking ownership of delegated work while seeking guidance from Partners and senior lawyers where appropriate.
• Contributing to the development of legal know-how and precedent materials.
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior members of the team.
• Assisting with business development initiatives and client relationship activities.

What You Need

• 5-6 years' relevant post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Admission to practise in England & Wales or Jersey.
• A flexible mindset and a proven ability to navigate a broad range of legal and commercial challenges.
