Trainee Corporate Services Administrator

What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee, you'll play a key role in supporting the administration of a varied portfolio of trusts and companies. You'll learn how the industry works from the inside out, including:
Client & Portfolio Support
- Assisting with the administration of trusts and companies, becoming familiar with all aspects of client management
- Communicating directly with clients at the right level, helping you build confidence and professional rapport
- Handling emails, calls, and other correspondence, ensuring client managers are kept informed of anything important
Financial & Investment Awareness
- Reviewing investment portfolios and understanding how they operate within trust and company structures
- Liaising with investment managers, brokers, and intermediaries to keep information up to date
- Carrying out checks on accounts, preparing periodic valuations and reports, and sending these to clients
Governance & Documentation
- Preparing straightforward trust resolutions and company minutes
- Completing payment instructions and ensuring accurate data entry in online banking systems
- Supporting fee administration, from settling invoices to liaising with supervisors about outstanding items
Regulatory & Compliance Learning
- Staying up to date with industry regulations and legislative changes
- Ensuring CDD requirements are met at all times
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring all work is properly reviewed and supervised
Operational Support
- Using effective time management to meet deadlines and maintain quality
- Carrying out general office duties when required
- Recording all time clearly in the company's time recording system
- Working towards financial performance targets with guidance from management
