Financial Controller
Job Description:
Your role
Our Finance team are responsible for the oversight and management of finances across all jurisdictions.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will lead a team responsible for the accounting operations of the companies and the management of cash and maintenance of budgets.
Your focus
- Lead and manage the Finance team, ensuring effective oversight of accounting operations and cash management
- Chair regular budget holder meetings, driving accountability and transparency in financial planning and spend
- Enforce strict budget discipline, ensuring that all departments operate within their allocated budgets and that no unauthorised expenditure occurs
- Oversee timely billing, collections, and payments
- Manage accounting, cash flow, and financial reporting
- Present financial results to the Board and management committees
- Maintain financial policies, controls, and reporting schedules
Your experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with senior finance experience
- Strong leadership skills and communication skills inspiring the team to be results driven
- Commercially aware with experience of operating efficiently to continue to improve processes
- Experience in regulatory reporting requirements in Jersey, London and Luxembourg would be desirable
