Associate Director - Trust

Salary  £90,000 neg + generous benefits package

Joining a successful and expanding trust and wealth management business, you will be an integral part of our team. Your role will involve overseeing complex trust, company, and limited partnership structures, requiring technical expertise as well as the ability to motivate and engage your team.

Duties and responsibilities will include;
  • Delivering efficient, considered and diligent management of a portfolio of high net-worth clients
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of a designated client portfolio to ensure a personalised service is provided
  • Contribution to the development and implementation of ATLs strategic objectives
  • Providing technical guidance, coaching to staff and supporting the development of junior members of the team
  • Effectively delegating and training of others, including providing timely and constructive feedback to support the development of junior members of the trust team
  • Assisting with the on-boarding of new clients
  • Meeting clients and their advisors either in Jersey or further afield
  • Being a proactive team player
  • Ensuring that all activities undertaken reflect and respect our ethical charter
Qualifications and skills
  • Must have Entitled for Work status i.e. minimum of 5 years residency in Jersey
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience in the trust sector
  • An excellent standard of written, IT and communication skills
  • A detailed and wide ranging knowledge and experience of administering a variety of offshore structures and asset classes/types
  • A sound knowledge of the relevant codes and laws
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment as part of a small, busy team
  • Initiative, adaptability, creativity
  • Obtained the STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management and/or ICSA Diploma/professional in Offshore Finance and Administration
