Associate Director - Trust

Location Jersey

Duties and responsibilities will include;

Delivering efficient, considered and diligent management of a portfolio of high net-worth clients

Developing an in-depth understanding of a designated client portfolio to ensure a personalised service is provided

Contribution to the development and implementation of ATLs strategic objectives

Providing technical guidance, coaching to staff and supporting the development of junior members of the team

Effectively delegating and training of others, including providing timely and constructive feedback to support the development of junior members of the trust team

Assisting with the on-boarding of new clients

Meeting clients and their advisors either in Jersey or further afield

Qualifications and skills

Must have Entitled for Work status i.e. minimum of 5 years residency in Jersey

A minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience in the trust sector

An excellent standard of written, IT and communication skills

A detailed and wide ranging knowledge and experience of administering a variety of offshore structures and asset classes/types

A sound knowledge of the relevant codes and laws

Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment as part of a small, busy team

Initiative, adaptability, creativity

Obtained the STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management and/or ICSA Diploma/professional in Offshore Finance and Administration
