To act as a data controller, inputting, validating and extracting data from core data management systems throughout the client lifecycle, as well as administering the JFSC Registry reporting tool for statutory filings and assisting with internal MI and Reporting obligations.

What you will be doing

Operational

  • Responsible for actioning Data Control requests for NavOne within SLA timeframes.
  • Support the DATA Controls activities in relation to data remediation, data collection, data analysis and data submission process for the annual NRA submissions.
  • Monitor and action daily submissions using the Jersey Registry API tool for statutory filings, remediating where possible and escalating to client teams where action required.
  • Produce reporting, extracts and data analysis of NavOne data to satisfy internal and external data and reporting requests.
  • Active stakeholder in the testing of system releases
  • Outcomes focused with an ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured work environment
  • Act as a point of reference for the business to answer and resolve issues/queries related to NavOne data management and controls, BORT Registry Reporting and NRA.
  • Keeping abreast of system releases affecting the future efficiencies and functions of the platform to ensure that best practice and working methodology are implemented into standards and procedures
  • Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the Client Operations team

Business Management

  • Prioritising own workloads and projects ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Understanding what is appropriate and acceptable in relation to AML and other compliance obligations
  • Dealing with matters and queries in a timely manner
  • Responsible for participating in appropriate projects and initiatives
  • Attend and constructively contribute to Client Operations meetings and other internal meetings as required from time to time

Development of others

  • Develop and give training session to members of the data control team relating to system usage and setup
  • Sharing knowledge pro-actively and freely

The ideal background for this role:

  • Table 5 qualification
  • Studying for, or a willingness to study for, a Table 4 qualification
  • 3+ years relevant finance industry experience, ideally within a data management role
  • Demonstrated skills as a system administrator
  • Experience with fund, trust and corporate structures
  • Experience with data input, reporting, interrogation and workflow management
  • Good understanding of GDPR and risks associated with personal/sensitive data
  • Prior experience of working with NavOne or Investran preferred
