Group Company Secretary - 6 month fixed contract in Guernsey
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Temporary Group Company Secretary will provide dedicated, administrative, and organisational support to the busy Group Company Secretarial function to enable the Company Secretary to deliver timely, high-quality governance, compliance, and board support across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Board & Committee Support
Assist with preparing and circulating board packs, agendas, and supporting materials.
Support in drafting minutes for review.
Maintain and update various co-sec trackers and schedules
Corporate Governance Administration
Maintain and update authorised signatory lists and associated due diligence records.
Assist with ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) tasks, including collation, filing, and updates.
Update governance documentation under supervision.
Administrative & Record Management
Maintain and update corporate schedules, registers, and filing systems.
Support routine statutory filings and ensure documents are recorded accurately.
Assist with collation of information and documents required for audits, regulatory requests, and ad hoc governance reporting.
General Support
Ensure consistent version control and organisation of documents across digital platforms.
Support the smooth running of the Company Secretarial function by completing ad hoc tasks as required.
Key Competencies & Skills:
3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks, while escalating appropriately.
Previous administrative experience within a corporate, financial services, or legal environment is desirable.
