Job Description:
Role Purpose
Supervise and manage a team providing administration and other services to corporate client entities in a variety of asset classes, including real estate, and undertake business development/marketing opportunities as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a team of administration staff managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
- Ensure the team administers the client portfolio to a high standard in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures, and that all work is undertaken/completed in a timely manner.
- Manage client transactions and review documentation prepared by the administration team before presenting to Directors.
- Oversee the billing and debt collection for the client portfolio.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with your team, intermediaries, clients and client advisors.
- Identify any training needs for the team and provide day-to-day support to build their confidence and knowledge.
- Have awareness of the team's financial and team members' personal targets, making sure these are reviewed frequently, with any areas of concern being addressed appropriately in a timely manner.
- Undertake the team member's periodic appraisal and feedback meetings.
- Serve as a B class Signatory on the Firm's authorised signing mandate.
- Work with other managers and senior staff to develop the business' operations and promote growth.
Technical / Professional / Qualification Preference
- CGI/ STEP Diploma or equivalent completed, studying to obtain CGI/ STEP Professional or equivalent if not already achieved (JFSC Minimum is Hold Table 5 qualification plus a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience); or
- Qualified Accountant (by qualification through the Professional body); or
- Qualification relevant to function; and
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development; and
- Management Training undertaken; and
- People Management skills and experience
