Temporary Relationship Manager

 Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Relationship Manager to temporarily join their team and own and develop a portfolio of local clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing business opportunities with existing and new clients by growing strong client and introducer relationships.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for existing clients.
  • Understanding of the bank's financial targets and being aware of the commerciality of your client portfolio.
  • Enabling your clients to be on-boarded effectively, whilst fully understanding and being able to present all client risk aspects.
  • Cross-departmental co-ordination to deliver products and services for your client portfolio.
  • Raising the public profile of the bank both locally and overseas, including attendance at corporate events.
  • Providing assistance to other team members during busy times.
  • Periodic risk reviews in order to assess ongoing risks to the bank and to oversee that any KYC/AML shortfalls are remedied.


Your qualifications and skills include:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a front office client relationship role or equivalent.
  • Target oriented, with a record of meeting set objectives.
  • A willingness to undertake sales management, and in particular in the design and delivery of effective calling programmes and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation.
  • A pro-active approach to suggest new ideas/innovation/process change to deliver for client requirements.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and enthusiasm for change and the unexpected.
