Recruitment Specialist
Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Recruitment Specialist helps the organization find the right candidates for specific roles. This position is responsible for filling vacancies - including, but not limited to, roles in Operations, Management, and Support - by researching potential candidates, conducting interviews, and building a network of top-tier talent within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit qualified prospective employees through proven recruiting channels and community networking, while projecting a positive company image to ensure a steady flow of applicants
- Understand job requirements for staffing needs
- Help develop cost-effective recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates qualifications for hire
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidate qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with department heads and clients
- Provide candidates with an overview of the salary package, training allowance, and benefits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities
- Participate in both internal and external recruitment events to tap into the local labor pool
- Maintain recruitment trackers
- Reach out to candidates and relay application results
- Prepare regular reports on the recruiting and hiring efforts and outcomes
- Monitor candidates in the recruitment pipeline, ensure resumes and interview notes are properly uploaded to the ATS, and send timely updates to candidates
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment policies and procedures
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/College degree in Psychology, Human Resource Development Management, or equivalent experience
- At least 6 months of experience in HR or recruitment, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong team player with a positive work attitude
- Ability to expedite talent acquisition, present opportunities effectively, and assess the skill sets and motivations of prospective candidates
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work the mid shift
- Amenable to schedule changes, overtime, and holiday work
- Willing to work on-site
