What You Will Do
Support the Sales and Customer Service teams by entering and processing orders, researching part specifications and availability, and answering customer questions via email and chat.gathering part details, specifications, and checking availability
Respond to customer inquiries by email or online and help them track down parts for their classic cars
Process and update orders accurately and in a timely manner
Keep records organized in our CRM and inventory systems
Research and source difficult-to-find parts when needed
Identify process issues and suggest improvements as we continue to modernize
Maintain accurate product data
Report website or data issues to the appropriate teams
Requirements
Familiarity with American classic and muscle car parts from the 1930s to the 1980s
You have general familiarity with how cars work and the various types of auto parts (for example, you know the difference between brake pads and brake rotors, or how spark plugs fit into an engine).
Experience from any of these counts: working in a parts department, as a mechanic in a shop, working on your own cars, or any similar experience.
Typing speed of 60+ WPM
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfort using web-based tools such as CRMs, order systems, and product databases without step-by-step guidance
Adaptable and ready to thrive in a fast-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for cars, ideally as a hobbyist or restorer
Experience in automotive parts customer service or sales
Experience using modern software platforms such as Shopify or other web-based systems
Knowledge of platforms such as Shopify, CRM systems, or inventory tools
