We are a multi-brand Amazon and e-commerce company operating across the US and internationally. Our finance function is critical to how we manage growth, control costs, and make fast, data-driven decisions. We have strong systems in place and are now looking to level up our accounting capabilities by bringing in an experienced, high-performing Senior Accountant.
About the Role:
Were looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong accounting background and a degree in accounting to manage books across several brands and entities. This is more than a bookkeeping job youll work closely with our finance analyst and controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost tracking, reconciliations, and support monthly closes. The ideal candidate has worked with US-based companies, understands multi-entity accounting, and thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day accounting across multiple entities in QuickBooks Online
- Maintain general ledger integrity, perform account reconciliations, and ensure accurate classification of transactions
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including COGS, freight, international vendors, and multi-currency transactions
- Support month-end and year-end close, including preparation of adjusting journal entries
- Help reconcile and allocate landed cost data across SKUs
- Ensure clean financial data aligned with GAAP and internal SOPs
- Collaborate with our finance analyst and controller for timely and accurate reporting
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in the books and fix them proactively
- Maintain internal documentation and help drive process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with US-based companies
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and multi-entity accounting
- Prior experience with e-commerce, Amazon FBA, or high-volume inventory businesses
- Familiarity with multi-currency books and reconciling complex payment flows
- Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and outcome-driven
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Must work with US Central Time (CST) hours.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Entriwise, A2X, ClickUp, Bill.com
- Background in cost accounting, landed cost allocation, or inventory control
- Worked in businesses with 7-figure monthly revenue or multiple global entities
