We are looking for a skilled Amazon Inventory and Supply Chain Manager to support and enhance our e-commerce operations. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management and supply chain processes, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient shipping, and cost-effective strategies that meet customer demand and align with our growth goals. This role is ideal for someone experienced with Amazon FBA and passionate about streamlining processes for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet sales demand without overstocking or stockouts.
- Use tools like Google Sheets/Excel to track, analyze, and report inventory data.
- Coordinate with Amazon FBA to ensure smooth inventory replenishment and compliance with their requirements.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- Identify and implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency.
- Optimize shipments to balance costs and inventory needs, including using bulk container options when appropriate.
Cost and Freight Management:
- Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives for shipping and freight while meeting delivery timelines.
- Monitor and analyze shipping expenses to maintain budgetary control and identify opportunities for savings.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Regularly assess supplier performance to uphold quality and efficiency standards.
Collaboration and Planning:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to align inventory planning with sales projections and promotional activities.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve supply chain and inventory processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (required).
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory and supply chain management, preferably in an e-commerce or Amazon FBA environment.
- Strong proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel for data tracking and analysis.
- Expertise in Amazon FBA operations, including inventory planning, shipment creation, and fulfillment processes.
- Proven ability to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
