Senior Finance & Data Analyst

Seller Prism specializes in managing and scaling private-label brands on Amazon. With over a decade of experience in e-commerce, we focus on streamlining operations and making data-driven decisions. As we expand, we are looking for a Finance & Data Analyst to play a crucial role in financial reporting, data analysis, and visualization, ensuring our leadership team has clear insights to drive business growth.

Salary Range for this position is US $500- $700/month.

Position Overview

The Finance & Data Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, data modeling, and creating executive dashboards to support decision-making. This role requires strong SQL, Power BI, Python, and data visualization skills to transform raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling large datasets, automating workflows, and presenting findings to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial performance, tracking revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability trends.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports with key insights and recommendations.
• Support forecasting and budgeting by analyzing historical data and market trends.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence

• Build and maintain executive dashboards in Power BI for real-time financial and operational metrics.
• Develop SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Utilize Python for advanced data analysis, trend detection, and automation.
• Perform data visualization to communicate insights effectively.

Automation & Process Improvement

• Implement automated reporting to streamline financial and operational analysis.
• Enhance data workflows using BigQuery, Python scripts, and SQL automation.
• Improve existing financial models and reporting structures for better efficiency.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Present key findings in weekly executive meetings, providing clear, data-backed recommendations.
• Work closely with inventory, supply chain, and sales teams to align financial insights with operational goals.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries, optimizing database performance).
• Proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creation, data visualization, DAX).
• Python expertise (data processing, automation, forecasting models).
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and profitability tracking.
• Ability to communicate data insights clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon/e-commerce financial reporting.
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Google Sheets automation, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial modeling.
