Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US CST
We are hiring a Junior Financial Analyst to support our growing, multi-brand e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with 2 to 4 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to gain hands-on exposure to financial reporting, sales analysis, and strategic planning.
Youll work directly with our Controller and play a key role in producing accurate reports, supporting product-level profitability tracking, and reviewing bookkeeping outputs to ensure financial integrity across Amazon and DTC operations.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Bookkeeping Support

Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports

Assist with variance analysis and create supporting commentary

Review entries from the Bookkeeper for accuracy and proper classification

Maintain and update monthly reporting templates

Support the Controller in improving financial reporting processes
Cost and Profitability Tracking

Analyze SKU-level profitability, factoring in COGS, fees, logistics, PPC, and returns

Monitor ROI of marketing campaigns and product launches

Assist in identifying cost trends and margin improvement opportunities

Track unsellable inventory and lost goods costs
Sales and Forecasting Support

Pull daily and weekly sales reports for US, Canada, and EU marketplaces

Track ACOS, TACOS, ROI, and other campaign performance indicators

Assist with maintaining sales forecasts and providing weekly summaries
-
Prepare actual vs forecast comparisons with key insights
Cash Flow and Budget Tracking

Help maintain rolling cash flow projections, including supplier payments and ad spend

Track and report budget vs actual spend

Monitor currency exchange impacts on procurement

Support on-time supplier payment tracking
Strategic Support and Compliance

Assist with financial models and ad hoc data analysis

Support VAT tracking for UK and Germany

Help prepare data and insights for quarterly planning and business reviews
Deliverables
Daily: Monitor sales KPIs, supplier payments, and PPC performance
Weekly: Regional sales summaries, campaign ROI analysis, updated cash forecasts
Monthly: Support for full financial reporting, SKU profitability analysis, VAT tracking
Quarterly: Assist with strategic reviews and product ROI analysis

What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

2 to 4 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience

Strong understanding of core financial statements and bookkeeping basics

Ability to synthesize data into clear summaries and insights

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Experience in e-commerce or inventory-based businesses is a plus

Comfortable working independently and communicating with multiple stakeholders
