About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Python Developer Intern to help maintain and develop a cutting-edge software platform built on a robust, scalable stack. As part of our remote team, you will gain valuable experience with modern tools and work processes, collaborating with experienced engineers in a real-world environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Python/Django codebases. 
• Participate in the development of new features, tools, and services.
• Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to code review and testing.
• Engage in daily communication and collaboration with the development team.

Technologies You Will Use:

• Python (main programming language)
• Django (backend web framework)
• Celery and Redis (background processing and task queues)
• Kafka (event streaming)
• PostgreSQL (database)
• Docker (containerization and microservices)
• Flask (microservices and APIs)
• Large Language Models / AI (CrewAI, LangChain, OpenAI, Ollama)
• GitHub (for CI/CD and team collaboration)

Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in Python and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate and write in English.
• Reliable internet connection and capacity to work remotely.
• Commitment to a minimum 6-month internship
• Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, professional software development environment.

Bonus Points:

• Students who are completing their Common Core and seeking an Internship.
• Familiarity with any of the listed technologies (especially Django, Docker, Celery, or Kafka). 
• Experience contributing to coding projects, open-source, or coursework.
• Curiosity about DevOps, backend systems, or automation.
