COMPANY OVERVIEW

SKG is a leading property management company that specializes in in property letting in South Africa. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Leasing Administrator to join our Coastal team on a full-time, permanent basis.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Leasing Administrator supports the leasing function across the commercial, retail, and industrial property portfolio. This role focuses on vacancy marketing, broker coordination, enquiry management, and lease transaction administration to ensure efficient deal flow, accurate reporting, and a high level of service to brokers and tenants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Vacancy Marketing & Listings

  • Manage and update online property listings, including Property24 and other marketing platforms
  • Maintain accurate and current company vacancy schedules and marketing databases
  • Distribute brochures, marketing material, and property information to brokers and prospective tenants
  • Prepare and circulate canvassing and market intelligence material to the brokerage network

Broker & Enquiry Liaison

  • Act as a key point of contact for brokers, responding to enquiries and facilitating property information requests
  • Field and qualify incoming leasing enquiries from online platforms and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate and schedule property viewings and site tours

Leasing Transaction Support

  • Assist with preparation of standard leasing proposals and supporting documentation
  • Track leasing deals from enquiry stage through to conclusion, ensuring all documentation is complete
  • Maintain up-to-date leasing activity reports for the Leasing Manager
  • Ensure all leasing files, records, and compliance documentation are accurately maintained

Tenant & Property Coordination

  • Support communication with new and existing tenants throughout the leasing process
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including inspections and handover processes
  • Liaise with property managers, facilities teams, maintenance staff, and on-site personnel to ensure premises are market-ready and in good condition

Market & Administrative Support

  • Monitor market trends, rental levels, and competitor activity in relevant nodes
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Leasing Manager as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in leasing or property management is highly desirable

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of local rental market
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
