ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator & Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products as well as assist as a Driver. 

RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Follow safety procedure and wear protective clothing.
  • Accurately revieve stock from suppliers
  • Offload materials and merchandise and palletised stock items from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places, in the warehouse
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets/crates for storage or dispatch
  • Effeciently dispatch solid stock to customers
  • Load materials and merchandise and move from storage areas into trucks/containers for dispoatch
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw material to production workstations
  • Inspect Forklift to determine needs for repirs and perform regular maintenance
  • Maintain updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Assist in maintaining security over stock
  • Participate in fequent variencies 
  • Maintain a safe an orderly environment 
  • Import knowledge on Students
  • Any other reasonable instructions within the scope of work

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 or relevant certificate/qualification
  • Experince in a similar role
  • Code 10 Driver licence
  • Forklift licence
